Here’s my metaphysical vantage point on this.

As humans, we all have patterns of suppressed / depressed emotion, denied desires, and tuned out truths. We are constantly moving from a state of darkness, to Light.

Psychologically, as little ones, we silently agreed to shutting ourselves up and “not looking” at certain things in us and around us, in order to feel loved and accepted in our families…. both because we loved them that much, and because we needed to survive and were reliant on adults’ reactions to us, so we tidied ourselves up best we could.

On a soul level, as painful and confusing as this reality is, I believe it occurred — for — our ultimate empowerment: our choice to transcend through a journey of total self reclamation… to hear what got muted, to feel and move what got stuck, and to SPEAK & SHARE what got held back.

Why? Because doing so will bring us the utmost joy & satisfaction, and serve others in only the unique way we can.
